POLYALUMINIUM CHLORIDE

Stable Bleaching Powder

Stable Bleaching Powder is traded under the brand – Vikram. It is used as a disinfectant in water treatment and also in the textiles, pulp and paper, and carpet industries.

Formula - Ca(ClO)2

Specifications -

  • Dry, free-flowing white powder, without hard lumps and impurities

Epichlorohydrin

Epichlorohydrin is a colourless liquid with a characteristic chloroform-like odour that is manufactured using chlorine, propylene and milk of lime as raw materials.

Hydrated Lime (Calcium Hydroxide)

Calcium hydroxide (traditionally called slaked lime) is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. It is a colorless crystal or white powder and is obtained when calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is mixed, or slaked with water.

Sodium Hypochlorite

Sodium hypochlorite is also known as soda bleach or chlorine bleach. It is an excellent steriliser, oxidiser and decolouring agent, and also acts as a germicide, fungicide and deodorant. The chemical is used as a bleaching agent for rayon pulp, paper and fabrics; as household bleach for fly control; and for industrial water treatment and pool chlorination. It also finds application as a food additive.

Sodium meta bisulphite

SODIUM METABISULFITE is a white crystalline or powder solid with a slight sulfur odour. Toxic by inhalation. Strongly irritates skin and tissue. Non-combustible, but may decompose to emit toxic oxide fumes of sulfur and sodium when heated to high temperature. A corrosive acid when mixed with water. Used as a food preservative and as a laboratory reagent.
